This is a picture that I took of the parliament on night when we went for a walk on the Buda side of the Danube.

Me in Hungary.

Going to the bus stop.

Lots of stairs in the building.

Hi Veronica - Tracey and I have been making sure we login and find out what new experiences you've been having. It's quite an adventure. Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday this weekend - not many Americans can say that they turned 16 in Hungary - ENJOY!

hey veronika,

wow, you're such a reliable blogger! i haven't posted anything so far. it's so cool to read about what you're been up to. budapest looks amazing.

i've been in germany six days now. i've been struggling a bit with homesickness, more than i expected. it turns out i'm a lot more attached to portland than i thought. also, it's more different here culturally than i expected. but germany is really cool and i love my family. my town is so, so small. i thought it had 2000 people or something, but it turns out that's the DISTRICT. gräufenhausen has maybe 200 people. but it really is in the black forest, and it's beautiful here.

ok, maybe i'll talk to you later. viel spass.
